Business Development Manager will meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring the accounts within each assigned geographic territory. Incumbent will sell Houston Auto Appraisers services to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals of our professional services to Personal Injury Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Body Shops, Lending Institutions, and Corporate Fleet Management organizations. Incumbent will analyze customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of Houston Auto Appraisers services. Must have unmistakable passion for fine automobiles, classic cars, yachts, and exotics. Big bonuses for top gun!

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling and networking with Personal Injury Attorneys, Body Repair Shops, Insurance Companies, and corporations with large fleet. Must have insured reliable transportation.

Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of Houston Auto Appraisers services. Candidate must be able to dream big and materialize his/her dreams.

Continuously update knowledge of Houston Auto Appraisers services, automotive industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings. Increase presence in the community and promote Houston Auto Appraisers presence in the community.

Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools. Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.

Discretion & Independent Judgment:

Ability to identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate services.
Ability to determine return on investment when seeking and retaining customers.

Experience:

2 Yrs. Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment.

1 Yr. Cold calling Experience.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required.
Bachelor’s Degree-General Studies Preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Approximate 90% of time traveling
Ability to work in field majority of the day calling on clients.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Certified Auto Appraisers are needed in major cities in Texas to perform visual inspections and certified appraisals of automobiles, 18 Wheelers, RV’s, Yachts, Motorcycles, Heavy Equipment and Machinery for a variety of insurance related, legal or independent purposes. Candidate must have unmistakable passion for fine automobiles, classic cars, yachts, aircraft and exotics.

Excellent position for Texas Licensed insurance adjusters (all lines), Independent Auto Appraisers, Auto Salesmen, former body shop managers, Quality Control / Inspection personnel, auto enthusiasts and business minded professionals.

Experience:

2 Yrs. New or used car / truck sales or appraising experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment or Quality Control / Visual Inspection, Welding Inspection / Non-Destructive Testing experience.
