The intent of the Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers is to provide suitable training and education to the auto appraisal professional. IACPSM Certified Appraisers follow strict adherence the Bureaus Code of Ethics and USPAP guidelines.
Member applicants must pass the IACPSM appraisal course with an 70% or higher before being issued a certificate and BOCAA Certification number.
The two part exam includes the Ethics and Standards of Appraising and Terminology and Processes of Appraising.
These exams are derived directly from the educational and training materials provided by BOCAA and include ethics and standards created by the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practices.
